Natural Instincts has been in business for 20 years with continual, steady growth each year. We’re a small shop operating out of Spirt Lake, ID near Coeur d’Alene, ID that specializes in North American and Exotic animals, as well as habitats and micro-habitats. A team of three, we work together closely to put the care and attention into every single piece that leaves the shop, making sure that every detail is perfect — down to the oil glands. With every team member having won awards, we pride ourselves on our knowledge and our ability to turn your trophies into a true work of art.

Having so many years under our belt means that this isn’t our first safari, we’ve been through this once or twice. We know what separates a commercial piece from a museum-quality work of art, and we believe that every animal is of equal importance. We take the time to include details that may fly under the radar for most customers or go without attention from most commercial taxidermists.

Our work can be seen in Cabela’s locations across North America, and in magazines including Universal Hunter, Outdoor Life, and Safari Club International. Three of our animals were named in the Top 21 Taxidermy Mounts of all time in 2019. Tim Brown and Natural Instincts have been featured on shows such as Girls With Guns, Universal Huntress, Peterson’s Hunting, and Hot Bulls.
